Japan looked up, tears running down his own cheeks. Scars marred his chest and back, half hidden by bandages. "What happened?" The American walked slowly towards the Japanese male, who slid back until his back hit the wall of his room. He seemed to be scared. Very scared. Kiku sniffled, meeting Alfred's blue eyes.
"I... they're... bombing..." America dropped down to his knees in front of Japan. "Old scars... don't hurt... me..." He cried as he said that, bringing his hand up to wipe away his tears. He couldn't care less that the one who had done most of the bombings was seeing him cry. Pride had no place in his past or present anymore. Alfred looked down at the floor.
"Scars...?" Kiku nodded slightly and Alfred came closer. "From the bombings?" America lifted his hand up to wipe away a tear and Japan placed a hand on the American's hand, stopping him from doing so. "...I'm sorry, Kiku..."
"Sorry... so many of my people died... sorry does not cut it anymore..." A tear ran down Alfred's cheek as he looked away from Kiku. "I... I cannot..." The Japanese male wiped at his tears hurriedly, not looking at Alfred. "Bad apology... Alfred..."
"I'm sorry that so many of your people died. I'm sorry that I hurt you. I'm sorry I caused you fear. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I know I can't undo what my boss made me do, but I can always t-try to help you, Kiku..." America was full out crying now, tears running down his cheeks and dotting his jacket. "Y-You... me... I'm so sorry... I-I..." Kiku put his finger to Alfred's lips, shutting him up.
"The past is the past, we cannot change it. The future, however, can be. Don't let yourself be fooled into thinking it is okay for you to bomb other countries. Think of them as family."

"There is another war." Prussia said over breakfast. "I have to go to fight."
Ludwig dropped his fork onto his plate and looked at his brother in horror.
"What?"
"I have to go." repeated England.
Alfred immediately jumped off his chair and tackled England. His arms went around him in an embrace.
"You can't go!"
"Lovi, I have to." Spain said patiently.
Lovino looked up stubbornly at his caretaker.
"You don't have to! Stay!"
"Italia you know I cannot do that." an irritated Austria said.
Feliciano held the front of his dress in his fingers tightly.
"I don't want you to go."
"I know my little one." France murmured apologetically.

You Are My Sweetest Downfall
You are my sweetest downfall
I loved you first, I loved you first
It was true; Tino wasn't the strongest person among the people who represented their individual countries, but it wasn't as if he was completely incompetent. He remembered when they ran away together. Berwald (or "Su-san," as Tino came to call him)
the name was of utmost importance to the small nation. Both Sweden and Finland were controlled by Russia at a certain point in time
it had been quite a long time ago so the number of days and exact times were a blur. All Tino found important to remember was the way Su-san grabbed his hand and stole him away from Russia.

.aph. Expectation I
In the morning I wake up to that stupid bird.
I stare at the bird in the cage as it pecks the bars with its beak. The bed on the other side of the room is empty and neatly made.
Right. Now I remember. Cyrus told me last night he was going to leave early for school to get some information for his history test.
Cyrus' pet puffin squawked noisily, almost deliberately piercing my ears.
Glancing at the time and the dark window, I shove myself out of bed, throw my pillow at the bird, and begin to slide off my clothing.
It'll be another boring day at the World Academy.
It's only 6 a.m., but our dorm is a bit far from the school. We always have
